Board Charter
Mission Statement: Protecting the characteristic and interest of our Private park facilities.
Responsibilities:
Execution and oversight of administrative and operational duties associated with the common facilities of the Gateway to the Sea HOA.
- Comply with State and Regulatory requirement for a non for Profit Corporation
- Legal documentation filing with the state
- Annual Tax Filling
- Record Maintenance
- Procurement and Maintenance of Insurance
- Membership Administration
- Collection of association dues.
- Notice to Membership
- Notice of Default
- Notice of Legal Action-Defaults
- Deposit of Funds
- Administration of Funds
- Communication
- Distribution of Keys and Passes
- Liaison for professional services. i.e. Accounting, Attorney, Trades.
- Maintenance
- Park Area
- Maintain common area
- Repairs and Maintenance to dock, driveway, gate, signs, lights, beach area. Etc.
- Street lights
- Accounting
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Finance Reporting
- Special Project
- Oversee projects relating to common interest
