Gateway to the Sea Home Owners Association
  Board Charter

 
Mission Statement: Protecting the characteristic and interest of our Private park facilities.
 
Responsibilities:
Execution and oversight of administrative and operational duties associated with the common  facilities   of the Gateway to the Sea HOA.
 
 
  1. Comply with State and Regulatory requirement  for a non for Profit Corporation
    • Legal documentation filing with the state
    • Annual Tax Filling
    • Record Maintenance
    •  Procurement and Maintenance of Insurance
  2. Membership Administration
    • Collection of association dues.
    • Notice to Membership
    • Notice of Default
    • Notice of Legal Action-Defaults
    • Deposit of Funds
    • Administration of Funds
    • Communication
    • Distribution of Keys and Passes
    • Liaison for professional services. i.e. Accounting, Attorney, Trades.
  3. Maintenance
    •  Park Area
    •  Maintain common area
    • Repairs and Maintenance to dock, driveway, gate, signs, lights, beach area. Etc.
    •  Street lights
  4.  Accounting
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Finance Reporting
  5. Special Project
    •  Oversee projects relating to common interest
